EDP Energias do Brasil SA is a Brazil-based company primarily engaged in the electricity distribution. The Company's activities are divided into four business segments: Distribution, Generation, Sales and Others. The Distribution division focuses on supplying electric power to households, as well as commercial and industrial customers in the states of Sao Paulo and Espirito Santo, Brazil. The Others division includes infrastructure construction work, power efficiency projects and advisory services, among others. The Company owns a number of subsidiaries, such as Bandeirante Energia SA, Espirito Santo Centrais Eletricas SA, Energest SA and EDP GRID Gestao de Redes Inteligentes de Distribuicao SA.
