Thousands of women rallied in the Yemeni capital Sana'a Thursday to support the return of President Abdullah Saleh. Saleh was severely wounded in an assassination attempt on June 3rd and has been receiveing treatment in Saudi Arabia. Six months of protests have loosened Saleh's grip on power, but supporters say that while he may be down, he's not out. Women at the rally donated blood which was then used to draw up a document praising Saleh... (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) PRO-SALEH SUPPORTER, SAFA AL-HERSH, SAYING: "This document is from the girls of the rally to support President Saleh, and it is a document that was written in blood, a lot of women donated blood and have written, "by their blood to the President, God protect him." Speculation is rampent over whether Saleh will return this Sunday, the 33rd anniversary of his ascent to power... But analysts say that if he does return, it would only be as a weakened figurehead.
