This video posted to a social media wesbite purports to show demonstrations against the government n the eastern city. Reuters cannot independently verify the content of these videos. Saudi King Abdullah has broken the Arab silence regarding Syria and demanded the country end the bloodshed. Bahrain and Kuwait have also joined in, withdrawing their ambassadors from Damascus on Monday as President Bashar al Assad's forces deployed tanks to several different cities to crush protests. The outrage by Arab states comes after one of the bloodiest weeks since the uprising in Syria began five months ago. Deborah Gembara, Reuters
