Dorothy Rodham was surrounded by family, including Clinton, when she passed away in Washington DC. Rodham usually avoided the spotlight, but did appear with her daughter at several campaign stops during Clinton's bid for the democratic nomination for president in 2008. Other than Hillary Clinton, she leaves two sons and four grandchildren. The Clinton family plans to hold a private memorial service. Marie-Claire Fennessy, Reuters
