Dec. 21 - The body of Vaclav Havel is taken to Prague Castle in official procession before state funeral on Friday. Jessica Gray reports.
Thousands of Czechs turn out to mourn Vaclav Havel in Prague. The playwright and politician's body was taken to Prague Castle where it'll lie in state until the official funeral on Friday. It's been 22 years since Havel led the Velvet Revolution that ended Communist rule in former Czechoslovakia. But he'll always be remembered for his efforts to rebuild Eastern Europe as president of the Czech Republic and as an avid supporter of the arts. Beginning at the arts centre he founded and ending at Prague Castle, the procession symbolized Havel's transformation from a censored playwright and dissident to powerful political figure.
