Amateur video shows Syrian rebels capturing a third border crossing with Turkey Sunday. A senior Syrian army defector in Turkey told Reuters by phone that "It's a show of progress for the revolutionaries, despite the superior firepower of President Bashar al Assad's troops." The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes after rebel forces seized two crossings into Turkey. Now a rebel fighter is vowing to take the fight into Aleppo. On the Turkish side of the border all is quiet This comes after Syrian forces reclaimed one of two border crossings into Iraq. Meanwhile in Damascus witnesses say Syrian forces continue to bombard parts of the Capital. They say government forces are trying to claw back territory from the rebels a week after the fighters launched what they called a final battle for the capital. Residents say at least three people were killed and fifty others, mostly civilians, were wounded in the bombardment. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
