Rebels defend their position in Syria's largest city Aleppo. Amateur video out of Syria from earlier in the weeks shows rebels under fire as they try to defend a neighborhood under their control. The video, which could not be independently verified comes as reuters journalists arriving in Aleppo have been told to quote "get out" by rebel forces. A warplane flies over the city that has become a central front in the battle for control of the country. Rubble lined streets bear witness to a fight that shows President Bashar al Assad clinging to power in a conflict that has already cost some 18,000 lives
