Airstrikes over Syria. Amateur video which could not be independently verified by Reuters shows government fighter jets over the suburbs of Damascus. Government are pushing back hard trying to seal the capital off from rebel-dominated areas. Similar scenes across the country, as rebels try to fight back. The opposition says President Bashar al-Assad has upped his response to rebel gains and could turn to heavier weapons. Some suggest he may use chemical weapons. The government denies those charges. The U.S. has warned it will take action if chemical weapons come into play. More than 200 people died across Syria Sunday -- in a fight that activists say has claimed the lives of at least 40,000 people.
