North Korea's state media broadcast a massive outdoor rally in the Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang in support of the army on Friday. The square was filled with more than a hundred thousand people dressed in military uniform as they marched through Pyongyang streets. The broadcaster also ran photographs of leader Kim Jong-un presiding over an emergency meeting at which he ordered missile units to standby for possible strikes on U.S. bases.
