Hundreds of thousands cheered the news that the military had toppled the Islamist leader, paving the way for a political transition SOUNDBITE: Opponent Of Former Egyptian President Mursi, Osama Mahdy saying (Arabic) "We want to thank God that he rid us of the Muslim brotherhood that are not even Muslim. Thank God that he exposed the joint United States and Israeli plots, and now God will protect us from these plots. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the army, the people, the judiciary thank you very much for your work."
