Officials say gunmen opened fire and threw hand grenades outside the office of the Awami National Party (ANP) on Sunday (July 22). The two who died were supporters of the party, which has an anti-Taliban stance. Another six people were injured. No one has yet claimed responsibility, but the Taliban have been known to threaten political parties in the past. Police have launched an investigation into the attack.
