Dozens of uniformed and plainclothes police officers hovered around the gates of the main courthouse in Shandong Province in eastern China, but there were no signs that the trial was imminent. When it does happen, some say the trail will be a test of President' Xi Jinping's commitment to combat corruption. We ordinary people don't approve of corrupt officials, this person said. We ordinary people really dislike him. Bo has been accused of receiving more than $3.26 million in bribes. Bo's wife is also in jail over a scandal surrounding the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood. Bo was accused of corruption and of trying to cover up the murder.
