Bloodstains and fire in Damascus after a car bomb kills at least 18 people. Syria's state news agency says women and children are among the dead. It said a bus was hit by the explosion and several shops were damaged. It is not immediately clear who was behind the attack. Damascus residents the neighborhood is controlled by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad, who is fighting an armed revolt against his rule.
