Oct. 15 - A U.S. tourist is wounded in a suspected bomb blast at a five star hotel in the Myanmar city of Yangon. Paul Chapman reports
Staff at the five-star Traders Hotel in the Myanmar city of Yangon were clearing up early on Tuesday after a suspected bomb blast. An American tourist was wounded in the explosion in a ninth-floor room at the hotel on Monday. The blast was powerful enough to blow out the windows. Shards of broken glass plunged into the street below as they shattered. It's the latest in a series of explosions in Myanmar. On Sunday two home-made bombs went off in Yangon, one of which wounded three people. On Friday two people were killed by a bomb at a guest house north of the city.
