New York designer Michael Kors goes California dreaming for his Fall 2014 collection. Rough cut - no narration
ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION) Michael Kors merged his big city attitude with the country for Fall 2014. The New York native debuted a collection full of elegant comfort at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York on February 12. Double and single breasted coats were paired with fox scarves for extra warmth. Pullovers were made in fur, knit and tweed to satisfy an array of tastes. The use of chiffon was mixed with silk on blouses and created movement on long dresses. Kors stayed on trend by featuring skirts with embroidered detail. The designer maintained a color palette of charcoals, blacks, chocolate with pops of white throughout the line. The 54-year-old has designed clothes and accessories worn by first lady Michelle Obama and celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Hudson and Amber Heard. At the show celebrities including Michael Douglas, Naya Rivera, Blake Lively and Frieda Pinto packed the front row. However, Kors' brand appeals to the masses, which is something the designer is most proud of. Fashion Week in New York ends on February 13.
