The calm seen here on the streets of Ukraine's Crimea could soon be gone. On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted a proposal to parliament on using Russian Armed Forces in Crimea. The move sets up yet another showdown with the west. Government buildings and airports in Crimea remain under the control of armed men, who seized areas early Friday. Back in Kiev, the new prime minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, said the country would not bow to Russia's actions. (SOUNDBITE) (Ukrainian) UKRAINIAN PRIME MINISTER, ARSENIY YATSENIUK, SAYING: "An inadequate Russian presence on the territory of the Crimea is nothing but a provocation. And Russia's attempts to make Ukraine react in the same forceful way have failed. We clearly understand that the plan was to create a new Ossetia on the territory of Ukraine with victims, blood, war and civil conflict." Crimea is a stronghold of Russian-speaking Ukrainians and ethnic Russians, some of whom want Russia to reclaim it now.
