==REUTERS CANNOT INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY THE CONTENTS OF THIS VIDEO== This is said to be Aleppo, Syria, just before a massive explosion thought to be a rebel attack on government forces. It's unclear how many people were killed or hurt in the assault. It's one of several amateur videos posted today that purport to show the continuing violence in Syria's three-long civil war. More video claims to show rebels targeting government forces in the central city of Homs. Homs was the epicenter of the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad, but in May rebels abandoned the very heart of the city...what had been their last stronghold. A monitoring group says government air strikes near Homs over two days have left nearly 50 people dead. And even more violence still...in eastern Ghouta, near the capital Damascus. Streets destroyed, after what was reported to be a government aerial bombardment. Several people were said to be killed, their bodies shrouded for burial. Close to 200,000 people have died in Syria's protracted civil war. Millions more have been displaced.
