ROUGH CUT, NO REPORTER NARRATION China's President Xi Jinping arrived in New Zealand at the start of a two-day state visit on Thursday (November 20) to a traditional Maori welcome. Xi will meet New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key and other officials as he visits Auckland and Wellington hoping to boost cooperation between the two countries, local media reported. He flew in on Wednesday (November 19) night following a state visit to Australia where he attended the G20 summit in Brisbane last weekend. He is the first Chinese president to visit New Zealand since Hu Jintao visit in 2003.
