At least 7 people dead after a cafe is attacked in the Lebanese city of Tripoli. Julie Noce reports,.
At least seven people were killed after a cafe was attacked by a suicide bomber in the Lebanese city of Tripoli on Saturday. The al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front claimed responsibility for the attack on a Twitter account describing it as revenge for the Sunnis in Syria and Lebanon. It's unclear whether there was one or two bombers. There are at least 35 people wounded. The last major flare-up in the predominantly Sunni Muslim city was back in October. Lebanese security officials have repeatedly warned of plans to destabilise Lebanon by Islamic State and al Qaeda-linked militants in Syria.
