Mourners view an open casket of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov who was murdered last week near the Kremlin. Julie Noce reports.
Mourners in Russia file past the body of Boris Nemtsov at a museum in Moscow, Tuesday. The 55-year-old opposition politician was gunned down last week as he walked across a bridge in central Moscow near the Kremlin. Security around the building where his body lay in an open casket was tight. The killing of the outspoken government critic against the backdrop of the Kremlin has been deeply awkward for President Vladmir Putin. And although his murder has been condemned by the president, Nemtsov's friends and supporters have said he was the victim of an atmosphere of hatred whipped up against anyone who opposes Putin.
