Russian State TV airs footage of what it says of President Vladimir Putin working at his residence just outside Moscow. It's the first appearance since he dropped out of sight days ago, triggering rumors he was ill or sidelined by internal conflict. The footage shows Putin in his home office meeting with the head of the Supreme Court talking about plans to reform the judicial system. Putin was scheduled to visit the Kazakh capital this week, but the trip was canceled with no official explanation. Likewise a meeting in Moscow with a delegation of Georgian separatists was also called off. A Kremlin spokesman told Reuters on Thursday that the 62 year old premier was in good health and was working as usual.
