French President Francois Hollande arrived in Berlin on Tuesday (March 31) where Chancellor Angela Merkel received him with military honours. Hollande came to Germany accompanied by the French cabinet as part of a series of regular Franco-German government consultations. Topics discussed are likely to be last week's Germanwings crash in the French Alps, the financial situation of Greece, the crisis in Ukraine and talks on Iran's nuclear programme which have reached a critical stage at a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland.
