Saudi-led airstrikes continue in the Yemeni port city Aden as Sunni allies battle Shi'ite Houthi militia. Julie Noce reports
Smoke rises from the Yemeni Presidential Palace after Saudi-led attacks on Aden on Sunday. Video released a day before by the Iran backed Shi'ite Houthi fighters- who have control of the area- shows damage to wheat containers at a facility in the port city. The Houthis have been battling a coalition of Saudi-led Sunni Muslim allies for two weeks. The conflict has raised fears that a sectarian proxy war between rivals Riyadh and Tehran will further destabilize the region and leave Yemen destroyed. On Sunday, current President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi appointed his former prime minister as vice president. Khaled Bahah is popular across Yemen's spectrum of feuding parties and could calm tensions enough to bring them to the negotiating table.
