ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Republican presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz told a group of pro-Israel lobbyists on Monday (March 21) the United States would stand with Israel if he is elected president. Cruz spoke to the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee in Washington, D.C., just minutes after rival candidate Donald Trump finished speaking to the group. The U.S. senator from Texas acknowledged that he was making many of the same promises that Trump made to the group, but added that, "here's the difference, I will do it."
