Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport was under lock down briefly Wednesday night as police investigated a suspicious situation. Parts of Schiphol Plaza at the airport's entrance which is accessible to both passengers and visitors was evacuated and one person was arrested. Local media said photos from the scene showed a bomb squad robot being used to inspect a bag left on the street. One witness described what she saw. We were sitting by the Starbucks and my brother saw police running, and said, That's not good. Police later confirmed that the bag did not contain any dangerous substances and that the investigation was over. Airport traffic was not affected by the incident.
