Hundreds attend the Beirut funeral of Mustafa Badreddine, Hezbollah's top commander.
The Iran-backed Lebanese group says he was killed by an Israeli attack in Syria.
Badreddine is believed to have run Hezbollah's operations in the Syrian conflict, supporting President Bashar al-Assad.
He was also behind attacks against Israel from Lebanon and overseas.
"May he rest in peace, congratulations for his martyrdom."
Badreddine's death is a blow to Hezbollah's leadership.
The group calls it a trigger for 'open war" and says it will respond in due time.
