ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama arrived in Orlando on Thursday afternoon to meet with survivors of the massacre at a gay nightclub and relatives of the 49 people killed. Omar Mateen, age 29, a U.S. citizen born in New York to Afghan immigrants, killed 49 people and wounded 53 others in a shooting rampage in Orlando on Sunday inspired by Islamic State militants that stands as the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Though Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, CIA Director John Brennan says no direct link had been found between the shooter and foreign terror groups.
