U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama joins the popular messaging app Snapchat. Mrs. Obama joined Snapchat to promote her upcoming trip to Liberia, Morocco and Spain. Her Snapchat account is "MichelleObama" and according to the White House, it will be used to give "young people a fun way to follow her trip". The first lady will travel at the end of June with her teen daughters Malia and Sasha to promote girls' education - which is one of her signature issues. Obama already has 4.6 million followers on Twitter and 5 million followers on Instagram. Snapchat is a mobile app where posts disappear within 24 hours, and it has more than 100 million active users, most under the age of 25.
