Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and his family were in the war-battered city of Homs on Thursday (July 7) to visit the homes of some Syrian soldiers who were wounded during the country's civil war, his office said. Assad's office published videos of the visits, showing pictures of Assad and his wife talking to wounded soldiers and their families. Assad participated in Eid prayers in Ikrimah neighborhood in Homs on the first day of the Fitr holiday on Wednesday (July 6).
