German police in the southern city of Munich say up to 15 people are dead or wounded after a shooting rampage at a shopping mall. Mana Rabiee reports.
Munich police say they believe many people are dead or wounded after what they say was a shooting rampage inside the Olympia shopping mall in Munich. Dozens of emergency vehicles rushed to the scene. While evacuations were underway, many people inside the complex were still hiding, acording to one employee who spoke to Reuters by telephone. Policed were trying to determine how many gunmen may have been involved and there was no immediate word if the attack was politically motivated but German authorities have been concerned about lone-wolf Islamist attacks in the country. The Munich shooting comes just four days after a 17-year-old refugee wounded trains passengers with an axe and just over a week after the Nice truck attack that killed 84 people.
