ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Barack Obama says when he took office, he received two good pieces of advice from outgoing president George W. Bush: to always "trust yourself", and to always use hand sanitizer. In an interview that aired on CBS' "Face the Nation," Obama said Bush told him, "always use Purell, hand sanitizer cause if you don't, you're gonna get a lot of colds because you're shaking a lot of hands." Obama's wide-ranging interview also discussed the two main candidates vying to succeed Obama in the White House - Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. Obama said Clinton was the "most prepared" candidate the country had ever had, while some of Trump's proposals would betray the essence of the nation's founding principles.
