ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). STORY: Senator Elizabeth Warren declared, "I'm with Hillary," at the Democratic National Convention saying, "For me this choice is personal. It's about who we are as a people. It's about what kind of country we want to be." Former Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders said Sunday he would have preferred to see Hillary Clinton select someone like Senator Elizabeth Warren for the vice presidential spot over Senator Tim Kaine. Warren was the only Democratic woman in the U.S. Senate who did not endorse Clinton during her primary campaign against her populist rival, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont. Warren endorsed Clinton last month and the two campaigned together at a raucous event in Cincinnati, Ohio, that focused on improving the U.S. economy.
