Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane faces up to seven years in jail after being convicted of perjury in a politically charged trial.
Kane left the courtroom moments after the verdict was delivered, ending a year long trial that has riveted Pennsylvania.
The Democrat was convicted on 9 counts of leaking grand jury information to a reporter to embarrass rival prosecutor Frank Fina.
Assistant DA Michelle Henry says Kane's actions were disgraceful.

"What she did while she was the attorney general, the fact that she would commit criminal acts while she's the top prosecutor is a disgrace."
Kane's lawyers had argued she didn't know if was forbidden to release grand jury information.
The jury deliberated for a little more than five hours, ultimately choosing to reject her argument that she had made an "honest mistake".
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has called on Kane to resign immediately.
