Angry mourners pelt Turkish police with water bottles. Tempers boiling over at funerals for the victims of the deadliest bombing in Turkey this year. At least 51 people were killed and by a suicide bomb blast at a Kurdish wedding party on Saturday, in the city of Gaziantep near the border with Syria. Mourners at the funerals chanted slogans blaming Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan. In Istanbul, Erdogan blamed Islamic State for the attack... which he claimed was carried out by a child as young as 12. The hardline militant group has been blamed for a wave of attacks in Turkey, often targeting Kurdish gatherings in an effort to inflame ethnic tensions. The Turkish government has been fighting Kurdish separatists in southern Turkey for decades... and U.S.-backed Syrian Kurds are fighting Islamic State just across the border in Syria. Some 70 people wee wounded in the blast which detonated as wedding guests danced in the street. Security sources say other funerals will have to wait until DNA testing can be carried out on body parts to identify the remaining victims.
