'Trolls' stars Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick say they hope that whoever wins the US election will give America a ''big Ferris wheel'' as they turn on the lights at The London Eye. Saskia O'Donoghue reports
Who would've thought that these dolls originally designed by a Danish woodworker would get to travel the world in such style. Especially since they are being represented by a world famous pop star and a Hollywood actress. Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick arrived in London for a special event to promote their animated feature 'Trolls'. (SOUNDBITE) Actors, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, saying (English): "You know, it is just part of the job. It is what we do. You get on a plane you know, come over to London." They have already taken the film to Comic Con in San Diego and the Cannes Film Festival When asked about the French leg of their promo mission the pair joked that looking glamorous isn't as easy as it looks! (SOUNDBITE) Actors, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, saying (English): ANNA: "It was more glamorous that either of us really… When we were on that boat...'" JUSTIN: "Just put in…Just put in black and white." ANNA: ".. and he was like I'm going to take some pictures. I could feel... I can not speak for Justin, but I was like 'Oh yes, that is cool (posing) this is how I look all the time." JUSTIN: "Yeah, I did that too. I think I did that too." This time the duo not only got a chance to strike a pose but also to light up the London Eye ferris wheel. When asked about the upcoming US presidential election Timberlake and Kendrick expressed one wish. (SOUNDBITE) Actors, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, saying (English): "Yeah, whoever wins, give us one of those." DreamWorks' "Trolls" is being released in UK cinemas on October 21.
