It's over 20 years since late rapper Tupac and singer Janet Jackson starred together in 'Poetic Justice' Now the pair are among 17 musicians nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Harlem-born rap star Tupac - who was killed in an unsolved shooting in Las Vegas in 1996. For Jackson the nod comes at an exciting time - the 50-year-old recently announced she is expecting her first child. Also making the list is activist Joan Baez The 75-year-old became a voice of protest in the tumultuous 1960s and is still engaged in politics English electronic band Depeche Mode, American rockers Pearl Jam, progressive rock band Yes and funk singer Chaka Khan were also included on the nominees list The inductees will be chosen by fans and an international body of some 800 artists, members of the music industry and historians.
