Filmmaker and activist Michael Moore visits Trump Tower in New York and tries to speak to President-elect Donald Trump. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Michael Moore, the left-wing filmmaker known for provocative documentaries that deliver a biting message, visits Trump Tower in New York City. On Saturday (November 12), as thousands of people protested the election of Donald Trump outside of the Tower, Moore rode the escalator inside the building. It was the same escalator that Trump rode down to this news conference last year to announce his candidacy for U.S. President. Moore, the Oscar-winning maker of documentaries about guns, the Iraq war, the U.S. health system and Donald Trump said, "There needs to be a mass uprising against the Electoral College and we need to fight and do whatever we can to see that he does not take office on January 20. He's an illegitimate president. He does not have the vote of the people." While inside Trump Tower, the headquarters of The Trump Organization, Moore tried to meet with Trump, but was unsuccessful.
