ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis welcomed Jordan's King Abdullah to the Pentagon on Monday. The visit comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order banning immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries. It also temporarily halted the entry of refugees. King Abdullah is the first Arab leader to hold talks with U.S. President Donald Trump's new administration. They're expected to discuss how to bolster the kingdom's domestic security amid the growing risk of Islamic State militant attacks, officials and diplomats said.
