China's Xi Jinping stops in Alaska after visiting with U.S. President Donald Trump. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Chinese President Xi Jinping stopped on Friday (April 7) in Anchorage, Alaska, where he met with Governor Bill Walker. During their meeting, Walker boasted of his state's natural resources, telling President Xi that Alaska has some of the highest percentages in the world of oil, gas, gold and other rich commodities in the ground. "Nearly all the revenue we earn is off of resources we develop in the ground or our share of the resources," Walker said. Xi's stop came after meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where the two leaders discussed North Korea's nuclear program, the U.S. trade deficit with Beijing, and other issues.
