ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: "No collusion, no obstruction, he's a leaker..." U.S. President Donald Trump said when asked about former FBI Director James Comey's testimony. Trump comments came during a news conference with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis at the White House, where he was asked about Comey's testimony. The president said there were things Comey said that "were not true." Trump and his aides went on the offensive against James Comey on Friday, deriding as a "leaker" of government information the former FBI director who gave damning testimony against the president this week. In a highly-anticipated congressional hearing, Comey delivered a scathing indictment of Trump on Thursday, accusing the Republican president of trying to block a probe into ties between former national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russia, and saying the White House defamed him and the FBI. Trump broke his silence on Friday on Comey's testimony, saying the former FBI head had in fact vindicated him by telling the Senate Intelligence Committee that the president had not been personally under investigation in the Russia probe. With a single tweet, Trump also castigated Comey, who he fired in May, for giving an account of his conversation with the president to a lawyer who shared it with a news outlet. "Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication ... and WOW, Comey is a leaker!" Trump tweeted in his first comments since Comey's hearing. Trump stopped short of saying that Comey lied under oath.
