ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. Kenyan opposition leader, Raila Odinga arrived in the Nairobi slum of Mathare surrounded by supporters on Sunday (August 13), to visit the home of an 8-year-old girl, Moraa Nyarangi, shot dead on Friday (August 11) night during post election clashes. He drove from Kibera where he addressed some 4,000 people urging supporters to stay away from work on Monday (August 14) and accused the government of having planned to rig elections and murder his supporters. Odinga met with the girl's father, Wycliffe Mokaya, and other members of the family before addressing the crowds for a second time. The girl was on the third floor balcony of her family home on Friday, after election results were announced, when police nearby were chasing protesting Odinga supporters, the father told Kenya's Standard newspaper. The family say a stray bullet killed her.
