President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump help load supplies for survivors of flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Rough Cut (no reporter narration)
ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump helped load supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas on Saturday. The President and First Lady loaded boxes of supplies into trucks and vans for survivors outside of a relief center. Trump is making his second visit to Texas since Harvey deluged the state. The President praised officials for their contribution to the relief efforts and said that the waters were quickly receding. "We have a long way to go, but the water's disappearing," said Trump. The storm, one of the costliest to hit the United States, has displaced more than 1 million people, with 50 feared dead from flooding that paralyzed Houston, swelled river levels to record highs and knocked out the drinking water supply in Beaumont, Texas, a city of 120,000 people. Texas is the epicenter of the storm, with over 88,000 houses and businesses left without power.
