Japan is facing a demographic crisis. Its population is ageing and shrinking so rapidly that one in five people are now aged 70 or older. Its economy is slowing down as the number of pensioners rise and the working-age population falls. Reuters correspondent Mayu Yoshida visited one city in eastern Japan that’s bucking this population trend.
